to learn guitar what should i practice tabs of songs or different chords?

hii guys ..iam another bigenner ,playing guitar for 2 months.....:rock: ..i just want to know that...to learn guitar what i practice....tabs of songs or different chords... :think:

 

both, first learn a few basic chords, (major minors and 5ths) then practice some easy songs, gradually take on the scales and solos, then rock your way to stardom.

 

how to learn n practice these scales n solo s , how important r these

thanks sharukh~~~I can play about 15-16 songs (tabs seen from this site) and few chords also...now the problem is that I actualy dont know the basic things that you mention (like major ,minor,5th,"scales".....)can any one explain it or give the link.....
