hey, i just got this idea after posting my Da Vinci code thread.... give the names of 3 of your favourite books and share the best with all 1.The Da Vinci Code - Dan Brown 2.The Fountainhead - Ayn Rand 3.Harry Potter(All 5)- J.K.Rowling
1. Geetanjali -- Rabindranath Tagore 2. Let Us C -- Yashavant Kanetkar 3. Modern Operating Systems -- Andrew S. Tanenbaum
Three Best books! My three best books are varied choices: Here they are in random order- 1) The Green Mile, Stephen King. 2) Seven Habits of Highly Effective people, Stephen Covey. 3) The Goose is Out, OSHO. Thanks
The Alchemist - Paulo Coelho Zen & The Art Of Motorcycle Maintenance - Robert Pirsig Siddhartha - Herman Hesse
Non-fiction 1. Fountainhead and Atlas shrugged by Ayn rand (Actually it's like part-1 & 2 that's why I have kept them together ; and although it is a fiction novel I would like to keep them under non-fiction category) 2. Zen and the art of motorcycle maintenance by Robert M. Pirsig 3. Lee Iacocca : An autobiography Fiction 1. Seventh secret by Irving wallace 2. Not a penny more , not a penny less by Jeffery archer 3. God father by Mario puzo
Putting just three is really tough..... 1) Catcher In The Rye - J D Salinger 2) LOTR - J R R Tolkein 3) The Fountainhead - Ayn Rand In that order.
Amit, Ayn Rand just carried forward her philosophy of "Objectivism" in "Atlas Shrugged". I don't think we can call "The Fountainhead" and "Atlas Shrugged" as Part 1 and Part 2. "Zen and..." is a fantastic book. Me also liked it very much.
The Alchemist - Paulo Coelho The Da Vinci Code - Dan Brown Girl Interrupted - Susanna Kaysen I also love the Harry Potter series and The Perry Mason series.
Phantom- Slave market of Mukaar parts I and II - indrajal comics Mandrake - Alena the Enchantrass parts I and II - Indrajal comics Jataka Tales - Amar Chitra Katha the joy reading these comic books gave me as a kid cannot be matched by any book.
