    1) The Green Mile, Stephen King.

    2) Seven Habits of Highly Effective people, Stephen Covey.

    3) The Goose is Out, OSHO.

    1. Fountainhead and Atlas shrugged by Ayn rand (Actually it's like part-1 & 2 that's why I have kept them together ; and although it is a fiction novel I would like to keep them under non-fiction category)
    2. Zen and the art of motorcycle maintenance by Robert M. Pirsig
    3. Lee Iacocca : An autobiography


    Fiction
    1. Seventh secret by Irving wallace
    2. Not a penny more , not a penny less by Jeffery archer
    3. God father by Mario puzo

    1) Catcher In The Rye - J D Salinger
    2) LOTR - J R R Tolkein
    3) The Fountainhead - Ayn Rand

    In that order.

    Amit, Ayn Rand just carried forward her philosophy of "Objectivism" in "Atlas Shrugged". I don't think we can call "The Fountainhead" and "Atlas Shrugged" as Part 1 and Part 2.

    "Zen and..." is a fantastic book. Me also liked it very much.

    the joy reading these comic books gave me as a kid cannot be matched by any book.

  15. hm last time i read a book was 7 years ago i think
    i dont like reading big n thick books read all the tintin comic when i was 11 n also 80% of the e blyton short stories
    have received so many books for prize givings all lying in a corner :p:

    well u want to read harry potter first book buy the film's cd in only 2.5 hors u do a 5 day work more logical :think:

    @Sanjay.. Let Us C is one of the best computer books i have read as a computer illiterate.. i've memorised it almost :)

    nyways.. i remember 1 book... the detail in that book can never match ny i h've evr read.. aftr readin that book.. whtevr suspense & thriler novels i ve come across.. seemed 2 be trash..

    the book i'm talkin abt is..

    The Day of The Jackal... Fredrick Forsythe.

    Yeah Subhro, Let Us C is such a book which changed my life. My interest in programming is due to "Let Us C" only. And so, I'm a programmer today. I think C is the best computer language. So, cheers up to Yashyant Kanethkar.

    thats right sanjay.. my intrst in programmin is solely due 2 that man & his book.. i'll send u some stuff i made (games , graphics, etc.. in C ).. i remember myself muggin 24 programs just the night b4 my frst lab xam when i didnt know a single line of programmin then..

    Aleric,I didn't mean that it was part 1 & 2 .I just said that it was 'like' part 1 & 2 since both the books really dealt with the same philosophy .
