Probably THE SONG that got me into death metal. RIP Chuck Schuldiner Do you feel what I feel, see what I see, hear what I hear There is a line you must draw between your dream world and reality Do you live my life or share the breath I breathe Lies feed your judgement of others Behold how the blind lead each other The philosopher You know so much about nothing at all [Lead: Chuck] Ideas that fall under shadows of theories that stand tall Thoughts that grow narrow upon being verbally released Your mind is not your own, what sounds more mentally stimulating is how you make your choice So you preach about how I'm supposed to be, yet you don't you know your own sexuality Lies feed your judgement of others Behold how the blind lead each other The philosopher You know so much about nothing at all
I like Death Metal but not this band. I like things like Obituary, Morbid Angel, Forbidden, Napalm Death, Six Feet Under and old stuffs like that. Anybody here has heard the album Cause Of Death - Obituary or Blessed Are The Sick - Morbid Angel. Real Master Pieces. The title song Cause Of Death has a real melodic intro solo by James Murphy. Maybe the most melodic and heart melting solo Death Metal ever had. So Bluesy, emotional and personal. Not some fancy Arpeggio Crap which sounds like Sweep Picking exercise but some serious melody from the heart and fingers. This song Philosopher is the only Death song I like. I have the Video and it's kinda psyched out.
hehe... I listen to Obituary. Long back I used to imitate Tardy's growls and stuff. hehe. Actually James Murphy was the reason I started listening to Obituary and am now addicted to them. Morbid Angel is badass. Have u heard Altars Of Madness and Heretic. Seriously amazing stuff
