The last words of a fighter pilot in a mig 21 that is about to crash-My poem

I got into the bird, sleek and blue
Another one, just took off and flew

Radio check, all systems check , I was ready
Out from the cockpit, I said bye to my buddy

Engines on, full of power, I surged ahead
From the fuel tank was limitless fuel fed

I taxied on the runway, doing my routine
I was the best pilot of the cream

I took off, the everything looked out of place
I was onto a journey 20000 feet from the earth`s face

The clouds were purer than white, the sky clear
The adrenaline pumped, I lost all the fear

Something went wrong all of a sudden,the altometer went crazy
My heart skipped a beat in madness and frenzy

The radio crackled , I shouted in it,May day May day
I could only hear silence, I tried to pray

I did what was taught to me in the training,I did not get violent
All i could do was watch the engine go silent

The drop was fast, 20000 feet down I went
Kids in the nearby field thought I was god`s new angel sent

The eject button failed when it mattered
The plane hit the ground, My body broken,My soul scattered

It`s then i realised that I flew the mig 21
It had to me but no one

I lost my life flying the bird sky high
To only watch my body go cold and dry

Many a pilots have lost their lives to this bird
The only bird that never goes extinct

The government sets up an enquiry commmision to enquire
All i can do is watch from up above and control my desire
