    Okay, since the admin/mods haven't said it yet....the first round is basically a qualification where everyone submits a cover of their choice and we screen contestants. Anyone who is interested should start working on their recorings. We'll probably have a new thread for it when the announcement actually comes in.

    Yes, you can put in earlier recordings and instrumentals and anything you want to for the screening.



    If anything, just remember that instrumentals shall be critiqued on melody, tone, feel etc. just as harshly as vocals...so instrumentals are not really the easy way out. You have to know what you're doing.
