^lawl, this thread is getting hilarious(er) by the second.

Keep some easy tracks for guys like me!

 

I am seeing this already hot thread only now......

Anyway my suggestion would be

1. Let the song be cover or original or instrumental or anything...
2. Let the contestant do any song in any language of his choice...
3. Recording quality should not taken into considerations but if an interesting solo is not heard bcos of the poor recording, then it's not judge's fault. Have your own judgement here.

Hey Ronnie, ur laptop doesn't even have a MIC in?
In other thread u told it has got an inbuilt mic, but no line in. What does it have, only sound output?

 

i may participate but only if deadline is after the 18th june coz of exams n later maybe will be busy with some legal issues i need to solve so yes for the time being but i may withdraw later so .......

If they fix the date before 18 june, then search on internet for someone's recording, select a best one and post it :rule:

For the contest, is keyboard allowed or only guitar recordings?

fantastic idea, but mite posr a bit of trouble for the judges. for instance, how shud one do a relative evaluation between a pop cover and a metal cover?

no..i dont think that wil work.

if ppl record wat eva song they like .it wud be impossible to compare them..since this is a "covers" contest..everybody must cover the same song/songs ...then only ..do we have a competition..
the list of covers can be .
3 instrumentals songs
3 english songs (with vocals)..
4 regional songs.

and ..this is only a suggestion.the..covers list..the final one is upto the judges to decide..

 

nay man plzzzz....let them put up a song list...otherwise its gonna be AD 2050 by the time i decide on a song...(yeh i mean it...i get stuck choosin betweeen sugar and sugar powder :shock: )
