Hi guys! Tomorrow morning I go to pick up my guitar. How much is the ideal action for an electric guitar and how to know whether it is correctly set up or not? I mean what method do you guys use to check if the action is too high or low in the store before you bring it home? Thanks a mil for all the help!
there is no "ideal"... since you're planning to play indie, post-punk, and other chord-heavy stuff, i'd recommend a slightly higher action so you can dig in and whack them strings without any problems on the higher frets. .
