The thousand eyes on a stormy night Peeping through the clouds Were laughing at my birth Some wispered And some talked aloud His is a life Not to live but to die With no footprints behind And so I see my life Full of mist and dust All hazy and aghast But why it is I As I wanted the sun to shine The birds to fly The flowers to bloom And the world to feel all the love.
its a nice 'poem' .... but if its about you, y you think so? .... y it has negetive tone? .... "His is a life Not to live but to die" y you give them this right to say about your life like this?. ..... ( you as in general human ..... not perticularly you ....)
Well, Thanks. I've written this poem a year back and I feel my life has changed a lot. Now I'm quite busy with my Linux, C and my Guitar. So, life is going smooth.
ya gotcha now ...... that was a just a lil phase right .... and look bright side ... even in that phase you came up with nice touchy poem ...
@Madhura, Yea, earlier I used to write poems and I don't remember that I've ever written a positive poem. But if I write now I'll surely be writing positive poems. And now I know how to be successful in life. And I understand that the people who don't care for me, I should also not care for them. What do U say?
Of course im speaking the truth. Now that i've read this, i'll be expecting more and better from you.
i don't mind the sad undertones......it's me actually...you write whatever you feel, no one says poems has to be only OH JOY! OH JOY!....you know?
just keep it up....two thirds of my books are depressed, sad poetry but a lot of people love it because it what they feel too.
