i am watchin it .. comin tuesday maybe .. its a brilliant novel .. the best thing about it is the way dan has given us some bullshit wrapped in such a lovely paper that no ones wants to throw it away .. everyone just wants to stand back ..and talk
but yeah as dist said .. i have read some bad reviews as well .. "it really makes you look at your watch every 5-minutes" .. eeeeek thats harsh isnt it?

 

The movie launch in India has been kept on hold for a week, till they get a go ahead from the producers of The Da Vinci Code.

i think they were given the green signal yesterday..

 

green signal has been given....but the producers hav to agree to the govts demands dat it be given an adult cetificate and a disclaimer saying that the movie is a work of fiction

come to think of it - i read the book 2ice - good point - but ehen agin - it'll be nice to see all the things u imagned come onto screen and then see how much ur imagination can think....i mean - seeing the trailors - i imagined a similar atmosphere..so im still gonna rent the video...if i can - it is benares u kno...

I heard some guy on the news say that he wanted the movie banned cause
he didn't waqnt the "aam aadmi" to go and see the thing and take that as christianity.

The aam admi won't even know wt he'es seeing.:

Freedom of speech right go ahead I am not against it. I am for It I am also for freedom of expresion and media.. But Democracy also means freedom of expresion... That is why you and me are here on this forum discusing this. So freedom of expression also means I ahve the right to protest, if it was totalitarin or dictatorship. I would not be able to protest.
This is what is best abouth Democracy, freedom of expresion.... freedom of expresion also means freedom to protest. If you cannot protest it is not democracy..
Also to make things clear... the guys asking for a ban are just doing it for publicity... All representatives of Christian groups, are ok with the release of the movie...
I hope you are getting what I am trying to say.... Freedom of expresion covers every thing.. freedom of speech , media a freedom of Protest... If you cant do any of these it is not Democracy. Of cousre freedom of Protest should be peacefull.
