Desolate is the land where Eve faltered As stated by your holy book Outcasted are the ranks of man Searching out of spite for what he took Doomsday patterns are repeated Continuously throughout our lives Left unable to comprehend his strength Yet still expected to jump right in the hive I can't reap or sow a thing No matter how hard I try How can you put your faith in one Who can't even begin to answer why Blindly you believe in fairy tales Written just as was the Odyssey Desperate to lean on something You begin to trust what you can't see A book is all the proof you need It isn't quite that way for me Someone elses complex life opinions Is all that the bible seems to be So I say, "Trust in life after death!" But don't throw your faith away What god would create hell on earth Just to watch you live another painful day? If he's present through all the pain If he's watching you take him in vein If he smells all your losses and gains Then why can't he just explain?
Wow... Simply amazing! +1... Definitely looking fwd to read more of ur poems! Somehow, I felt these lines didn't fit in...
Cryptic Angel, In response to the lines that you didn't think fit: By saying trust in life after death but don't throw your faith away I meant that you should believe that there is something bigger (not meaning the christian god or any other for that matter) because there most surely is, but you shouldn't put your faith in something that you can't possibly comprehend or make any sense out of. Hope I didn't further confuse you. Thanks for the replies, -B-gin
Alright!! another cynically oriented poem..heh..well all i can say is that.. He can very well explain..just try to ask from inside of ur heart..and there are somethings He does which are incomprehensible for us humans to understand...but ofcourse these things do have a specific aim (beyond our understanding) seeing doesnt necessarily fetch a belief or a relief of existence in ur cognizance!! I'd like to tell you many more things..and answer ur questions..do pm me or im me. btw sorry for forgetting that i was supposed to give the feedback of ur poem..but i got too deeply entangled with the questions hidden in ur poem...it was certainly a nice one...looking forward for more of ur works
