The another "Why was my thread deleted" thread?

I'd like to know why was my thread "The best drum keeper" deleted???
Did i violate any law here?

even i dont know. all disappointment i wud say or monopoly. threads r closed for the sake of clean up or something.

@ mods - do close them but pls put up a strong reason.

Evo is right tht chit chat forums r for this purpose only (with minor spams >> ok) or chit chat is otherwise.

Neo, i wud request u to pls look into the issue.

First up, the only reason why we would close a thread is if it's getting spammed or it's getting flamed. The cleanupdrive was based on the former. And you do not decide what the purpose of the forums are, i would wait for the admin's reply here.

 

BTW i had posted it in the "Music Talk" section.

I nvr decided on wat the forums r for, tht was a view n if the spammed/flamed threads r closed for this purpose then pls look into the languages used by Dr saurabh n you (no offences, reason for disappointment).

Spam cannot be defined in one way, there are hundreds of way to spam.

Posting useless comments in order to increase post count.

Creating useless threads.

Flamming / posting derogatory comment.

Hijacking a thread.

Leaving one word replies.

Posting something not related to the original topic.

etc

We do not have time or the patience to explain each and every instances of spam.

As feedback forum posts are counted in your total post count, people try to inflate their post count by replying to queries in feedback. In order to avoid this we close the thread in feedback after our reply. If you have another question, make another thread for it.
