kiss was more famous during the 80s.. *** psitosl werent that great.. i personally dont like queen that much.. or aerosmith... yes there is a galring mistake - no sabbath!!! id put my 3 like this: 1. pink floyd (i worship them - no i dont have a shrine - yes i will e building one soon enough) 2. Sabbath. - (i acknowledge that led zep may also desrve this spot but i somehow rpefer sabbath) 3. led zep - theyre the demigods, ishtadevs... the rest: ac/dc, deep purple, rollnig stones, etc... these guys also were very influential but nowhere near the greatness of Their Holiness the above 3 bands....
Hey deathdr_87 when do u think ALIVE was released ... It was in 70's and it sold 4 millon copies.... thats too much for those days... In early 70's i mean 73 - 76 ... Kiss had great fan following ... But no air play and record byuers .... But after Alive the story was diffrent,,, Pistols were BIG dude ..... "U heard of DISCO SUCKS" ..... The fans of Pistols were the guys who did tht sad thing .... Ppl were crazy bout punk culture then .... It went on till Rap took over .... ac/dc, deep purple, rollnig stones --- No where near greatness!!!! Stones were great dude .... every one listened to them unlike sabbath ... And even Deep purple was famous ... And majorly influential ...
oh sure ppl heard dem - but pink floyd and led zep were in a different class altogether... sabbath invented metal as a style... .. today some band invesnts one of these random sub-gneres and ull proclaim them to greatness - but sabbath and led zpe started it all... they were the gods.. floyd took it to unsumountable heighyts... ppl who insult floyd in front of me tend to induce my homicidal instincts
