    Thanks a lot

    Hey mathai,
I have been searching for these chords/tabs for the longest time and hey even i am surprised to see so few replies for this amazing song. I have a request though..I am an absolute beginner and I didnt understand the first part whether they were the tabs or the chords ( the intro part.. ). Any hints on the strumming at all ( mine sounds abt right but not quite cos I dont mute/ or follow the right pattern at the right times..)
    Thanks a lot

@sush...i suggest you check out the beginners forum.....
there are a lot of threads that can help newbies like you......

    @mathai....good work.....
i feel the D aint sounding good if you play solo....(i mean if you want to sing and play)..
    intro is perfect.....
i do this for the singing....

    i play E instead of 4-x-4-x-4-x-4
    2-x-2-x-2-x-2
    and then
    e----------
    b-2-3-2----
g-2-2-2---- and then E and Asus.....sounds like the intro....
it gives the effect of chords + the intro.....;)

    also the riff should be...

    e---------------------------------------------|
    b--------5----7--5----------5----7--7/9--7--5--|
    g--4--6----6-------6--4--6----6-----------------|
    d----------------------------------------------|
    a----------------------------------------------|
    d----------------------------------------------|

check yours once again....you made a mistake....

    otherwise....good work...keep it up...:)

    and finally some comments,im happy

@sush - thank you..the first part is the tab..
hmm... about strumming u have to listen to the song and figure it out.
muting is a must for this song ,otherwise u don't get the feel of the song..
try muting the chords as well as the intro and see the difference(X indicates mute)

@hardik - yeah u might be right..mine was an interpretation of how i play it..
i think even if u play the intro as chords and then give some effects,it will
    sound like the original..
and about the riff ,i don't have gtr right now to check it,but hey thanks for the reply
