Tech21 Sansamp GT2 vs Tri-AC

Why not a delay?

Delay (to me) is the most important FX along with distortion.

 

I am also planning for a basic setup..a good distortion + delay+ Wah should be enuff to meet my needs for a long time to come...

 

woops...I thought I'd typed delay in there..... :

But I dont know when I'll get it now...... The Bajaao guy's phone seems to be permanently engaged

Why doesnt he keep the Tri AC link on the portal, if he has it in stock?

I guess he doesnt have it in stock, but can get it from the states or wherever from the same dealers he gets it from. Its not such a popular item that he would keep it in stock.

Does anyone here know the real diff between the Tri AC and Tri OD?

Now I really dunno about the AC vs OD thing.

The only diff I can find on their site is that AC comes under sansamp, wheras OD comes under effects.



All the other things/features are same.

This is what I found, correct me if I am wrong....

The Tri AC is programmable TRi OD is NOT

The Tri AC has mids control (EQ) The Tri OD does NOT

The Tri OD has speaker simulation The Tri AC does NOT


Besides the Tri AC is like an analog PODxt ....just sounds better and has less effects Whereas the Tri OD is a typical overdrive pedal with 3 different types of OD
