Got bored so starting a Q/A thread. I will post one question and u need to answer and u can also also post question. But the asker should know the answer. Now my question (hardware kinda) WHY ARE LETTER F AND J RAISED ON A STANDARD KEYBOARD?? ( If it isn't so in ur keyboaed.........then wack it.) Also which other key is raised in the keyboard?? Waiting for replies
F and J are the keys where the index fingers are placed in normal typing position. Its raised so that the typist could easily find the original hand positions by locating the raise on the keys without looking at the keyboard. Notice that there is such a rise on the number "5" of the keypad of your mobile. For the same reasons.
the first part has already been answered by Notty. And the otherkey raised on the keyboard is the numeric "5" on the right hand side numeric keypad.
Thats again because we could locate the "5" key with the MIDDLE finger without looking. Since standard position of hands while typing on the Numpad is: Index finger on No. 4 Middle finger on No. 5 Ring finger on No. 6
As far as I can remember, there used to be a B: back in the past when the latest models had 2 floppy drives?
I in old models there used to be 2 floppy drive. But the use of floppy have decreased so two floppy drives no longer exists. So no longer we have B drive.bjr u were right.
A miracle of nu age!!! A disc has been invented which can store more than ur computer hardrive. Name it. Quite easy
pentium ( a.k.a i586 ), intel couldnt name its processor to i586 due to patent/copyrights from another vendor, hence the name pentium
