Yes..Tansen is no more available in Bangalore. I'd suggest you go with Tulsi guitar. It's really good.

I am looking for a H-S-S pickup set with a whammy/tremolo bar at a very cheap budget - say, 8k or below. Can Tulsi accommodate this setup or do you have any better suggestions? I color my own tones, so there's nothing like 'my guitar must sound like Jimmy Hendrix'. Primary, my guitar will be used to improvise on carnatic ragas and some basic rhythm (Gospel). Except for the body color, there won't be any customizations that I would prefer. I also came across Harmony Musicals (hmiguitars.com), the Tansen guys it looks like. Did you have any transactions with HMI? I am from Bangalore and planning to pick up one from Chennai on my next visit, assuming guitars are cheap and hold better quality there. For the record - I extended my budget finally got a Cort X-6. It has H-S-H config with coil tap functions. Suits my need.
