the song tanha dil by shaan is a very cool one. one thing I noticed in the song is during the verse the Bass remains at C, while the chords are same as the chorus..

so it goes liek Cm/C Gm/C Eb/C F/C... but if u play the guitar i would play

u should just make up something...its not like anyone is gonna correct u lol

 

i dont pay attention to how i am strumming man.. i just do it.. which is why i was unable to answer your query properly. I am sorry. in anycase.. my advice is dont try to replicate a strumming pattern by reverse engineering the end result.. try to develop strumming techniques with different grooves, for 4/4 6/8 etc.. and just reuse them as approriate. that is a better approach.
