    Hey guys,
Yun hi chala ja is swades's easiest song to play.
It is a jam song, and u can totally jam on it playing just 3 4 basic chords like E D A and B, and totally do a one guitar party performance.

I have tried to get the closest accurate chords form the actual movie tracks which my aging ears could catch.. there would obviously be mistakes.. so please do not hesitate to give me feedback.
I am more than halfway thru.. but due to time constraints havent been able to work more on this. I will finish the song by next week.

I also have a recording of the song where i play acoustic rhythm.. it tries to recreate the groove and feel of the song, and u could use my strumming patterns if u want to do a one guitar arrangement.

The link for the recording is:
    Me playing over the original:
    https://eecs.cwru.edu/~jayen/IGT/yun hi high q gtr.mp3

First minute or 2 of some tracks from my studio recording:
    ***https://vorlon.cwru.edu/~jayen/IGT/Yun Hi Studio Take 1.mp3
and here are the chords and tabs.

    Enjoy.

what do you mean? I dont understand. could you repeat that ?
strumming doesnt mean playing one string after the other. It can mean hitting all 6 strings simultanously too. whats this got to do with swades song ? :p:

hey why did u cut the links out to determine the strumming pattern?

  5. jayswami

note for the admins... i am not infringing any copyright laws because i have mixed down the original track and play my guitars over it for EDUCATIONAL PURPOSE, plus it is only a clip and not the whole song.

    HI LIQUID

THE STRUMMING PATTERN IS PRETTY SIMPLE FOR AN INTERMEDIATE PLAYER BUT NOT FOR A BEGINNER, SO ANYWAYS I CAN TELL
FOR EVEYRY 2 SECONDS CHANGE TO THE NEXT CHORD AND
THE BASICALLY PER CHORD IT HAS 5 STRUMS ----- DOWN, UP,DOWN,UP, UP I GUESS OR DEPENDS UPON HOW U PLAY IT ------- JAY NICE WORK EXCELLENT PLAYING I GOT HTE SONG ALMOST GIVE ME SOME TIME AS I JUST HAVE SOME CALRIFICATIONS TO MAKE WITH U BECAUSE I USE Bm7 TH INSTEAD OF ad11 , BUT ITS ALL THE SAME GREAT JOB

  13. jayswami

    jayswami Blue J

it dont matter as long as u got Bm, i play Bm and let the high E ring.. , Bm7add11 then.. Bm7 makes sense to me, because it has A, part of D, I will have to listen to it again to see if i catch the A note in the harmony.. but no point nickel and diming it I guess, as long as u got the bassic pattermm E D E Bm

If u notice, individual tracks play different progs,
    for eg

at one place piano playes E D A Bm while Guitar plays E D E Bm

the dist powerchords towards the end are always E5 D5 A5 B5, while other tracks may be doing the E Dus2 E Bm .. so essentially its a jam song...
have 2 3 variations of the basic pattern, and play interchangably.. without bothering to sync up with the other person :)

    Jay

You're doing some good work jay:) Also, the admin has his reasons for not allowing mp3's to be posted on IGT, the simple solution to this is just to personal message the URL to those who ask for it:)

  15. hey can i suggest sth if we placed a 10 second recording for chords one give n if sb wanna hear it can click on it it will make music selection better n can rate their chords
dont know if its possible but woulb b great i think

  16. jayswami

dude do a google search for chords or something.. there are hundreds of sites which have a chord chart along with midi clips for each chord.. i gave the audio clip not for the chords, but to give the read a sense of timing and the groove.
