I hear a lot of talk of expensive grip plectrum. I know of one guy who spends Rs. 175 on one of those.

    Tip of the day:

    Buy a Normal Heavy Pick
Drill one big hole in the centre or where your thumb fits in when you hold the pick or several small holes.
Does the job. Will give you the best grip ever.

I'm sure a number of you guys already do this.

When using a small pick?? Wont that spoil the attack and the action??

Not when using a stubby and Not that big a hole that it affects the action . around 5mm. I used to have a Ready made pick just like that. something similar to the one below . This one is a new patented design.

Nice idea. .Thanks wil try this out. .Anyways.. Ok i tried this with a soft pick, The broader area is the place where all the pressure is applied I punched a hole and the pick lost its strength. .So i would like to add this.. if its not ready made then dont try this with SOFT picks.. One the other side Medium and Heavy responded well.. I'm not talking about stubby here.. Stubby has grip built in..
