I wanted to play more songs to increase versatility and for practice, but most of 'em on the Net are too tough for me. Please suggest some songs- english, hindi, anything- for playing on a 18 fret 6 string. Another thing- how does one play the C and C# chords?! They're super-tough!! Thanx -regards, ultrabot90
learn barre chords...all major minor chords can be played barred and open..so presuming that u already know all open ones..practice for barred ones. C (open) 032010 C (barred) e-3--- a-3--- d-3--5- g-3--5- b-3--5- e-3--- for C# take the above C barred position one fret higher! u need to brush ur guitar chord theory man

I quite forgot a logical error there- I DO know C Major! rofl. Barre chords?! How many types are there?!! Major, minor, sharp, flat, barre, open, 7th, 5th, minor 7th, minor 5th, sustained, dim... Chord theory...? Never heard of it...and where on IGT (pun-intended) is it? -regards, ultrabot90
barre chords are just barre chords.......u play them according to the notes on the fretboard........for eg.....a barre chord played on f# note on low e strings will be a F# as well as G flat barre chord.. veterans...am i rite?
well theres always a particular barred shape. the chord should contain the notes in the chord (for eg C Major C-E-G) unless it is an inverted chord.
if only u wud've made an effort to search then u wud've known, there are some threads in this forum as well as tutorial forum, and if they dont satiate you, then u know how to use google!!
