ok so here's the song kholo kholo...(funny title) but one hell of a lovely song...so had to find the chords behind it...
one thing...it's in e minor scale (that most people would tell you)...what they would not tell you is that this song follows E melodic minor triad progression...

    chords in this progression are
    Em F#/Gbm Gaug A B C#/Dbdim D#/Ebdim

things that i could not find and am working on it are the base lines used recursively and the lil guitar pieces...(ofcurse anyone knows there r 2 guitars used)

    so here goes.....do comment

    hi
as u said it is a lovely song. but i'm a new amateur learner and was wondering what is Eminor melodic triad? (concept and why it is called so) Also in the begining, does the chap use distorted chords? coz the first one is distinct but then there's a continuous sort of sound( i don't know what u call it but i'm sure u'll understand).

I hope i can get answers to the above soon.

    Few corrections

Two areas where the chords don't sound perfect.

The bridge doesn't really have straight B or F# chords. Most of them are chords with a few strings open

    Bridge #1:

    ---Bsus4-----------Bsus4/G----
tu dhoop hain jham se bikhar
    ---Em----------G---------A-----
    tu hai nadee o bekhabar
    ----Bsus4---------Bsus4/G----
beh chal kahin ud chal kahin
    ----Em----------G---------------------F#7add11-----F#7add11/G----Bsus4(#2)
dil khush jahan teri toh manzil hai wahin

    The kyun is kadar part:

    G----------------Asus2
    Kyun is kadar hairaan tu
    G----------------Notes(A - G - F# - E) [Chord: Em]
    Mausam ka hai mehmaan tu

The chords you've posted for the "khul gaya" part are not so right... Dm doesn't fit at all...

    Em7------D-----------------------Em7-------D----
khul gaya aasmaan ka rasta dekho khul gaya
    Bm------Am----------------------E7sus4----Em7-------
mil gaya kho gaya tha jo sitara mil gaya mil gaya

The chord formations for the various sus/11 chords used:

    F#7add11: 244300 (F# - C# - F# - A# - B - E)
    F#7add11/G: 344300 (G - C# - F# - A# - B - E)
    Bsus4: 224400 (F# - B - F# - B - B - E)
    Bsus4/G: 324400 (G - B - F# - B - B - E)
    Bsus4(#2): x24440 (B - F# - B - E - E)
    E7sus4: x2223x (B - E - A - D)

Mostly for the Bsus4/G chords, it's ok to play just the Bsus4 chord. Same goes for the F#7add11/G chords. The changes in the track happen on the bass and not on the acoustic.

For the other person who asked about the melodic minor triad, two clarifications:

There are three kinds of minor scales: (b = flat)

    Natural minor:
In the natural minor the 3rd, 6th and the 7th are flatted, both while ascending and descending.
    1 - 2 - b3 - 4 - 5 - b6 - b7
    e.g. A natural minor: A-B-C-D-E-F-G-A-G-F-E-D-C-B-A

    Harmonic minor:
In this scale, the 3rd and the 6th are flatted. The 7th is a natural tone.
    1 - 2 - b3 - 4 - 5 - b6 - 7
    e.g. A harmonic minor: A-B-C-D-E-F-G#-A-G#-F-E-D-C-B-A

    Melodic minor:
This has two modes, ascending and descending. While ascending, only the 3rd is flatted, and while descending the 3rd, 6th and 7th are flatted.
    e.g. A melodic minor: A-B-C-D-E-F#-G#-A-G-F-E-D-C-B-A

Lastly, a triad is not a scale. It's just a type of chord. Chords which are composed of 3 notes are known as triads. For example, Cmaj is a triad, and so is Asus4, Asus2 and so on. Chords like Cmaj7, C7 etc. are composed of more than three notes and are not triads.

Triads and scales closely related because most chords are formed by making triads on the notes of the scale.

Yep. B5 can be used pretty well instead of B. The full B chord doesn't sound correct in the part mentioned. Other than the Bsus4 & B5 differences in the chords we posted, I think the rest is pretty much the same...

Where we differ is the khul gaya part. I dunno, the Dm somehow sounds discordant. If replaced with a D, it sounds perfectly fine.

Haven't seen the video you talked about. Where's it posted? If you have the link, you can post it here - would help me recheck.

    Hi ,
Chords are correct but there is mute effect coming in the intro part.
If i play open Em and A chords as told by u i am not able to get mute effect.
Can u tel me how can i get that mute effect while playin open???
I find it easy to mute using bar chords only..
    Thanks in advance.

    E-|---------0-----0-x-0-X--
    B-|---------0-----2-x-2-X--
    G-|---------0-----2-x-2-X--
    D-|---2----(2)----2-x-2-X--

    Here is the intro

The start of the song is

Em Asus2 then pic as below

    e--------------------------------------------------
    B-------------------------------------------------
    G----------2(pull halfnote)-----------------------------------
    D----------------------------5--------------------------
    A-2----4----------------------------------------------------
    E----------------------------------------------------

    come to e min again

it is trick to continue the song at the same time but you come close to the real by practicing a bit
