this tune can be played in a wide variety of scales.. and none of them have to be right or wrong...
Though i do agree that the last line of abhimanjrekar does not sync...

my personal fav way of playing this tue is using the second and third strings

The above way of playing uses C7b9 scale using the five notes of C# or Db, D# or Eb, E, F# or Gb , and G.
