u miss some strings??..err.. ur problem is still quite obscure..do u mean ur plectrum or nail for that matter fails to hit all required strings??...if thats ur problem..then i'd suggest..go slow..if u'd want to start wid fast strumming then u'd obviously miss the upper few or lower few strings..so initially stick to slow patterns of strumming in order to make sure all strings are ringing then gradually pick up the pace..i know later on u'd find urself using all strings in strumming phew..if thats not ur problem then plz try to be more specific .then uL get good help for sure
vini is right!..........just follow these :: >> go by the basics n dun skip lessons n try advanced stuff. >> make sure you are holding the pick properly >> start playing by sstrumming the first 2 strings then 3 , 4 ,5 ,6 then different alternatives. >> dun bang the strings....usually u can miss or play the whole strings when u r just supposed to strum 4 strings! further,, u can even check out 2 n fro strumming method!.....it makes strumming simple! i suppose u can even check out the similar thread further down!
You need a lot of practice to get the strumming pattern right. It also depends a lot on the song you are trying to play. There are songs which require bass elements so you cover all the strings while strumming. Some do not and hence you do not cover the topmost strings. Keep practicing and you should get it right.
u can even lift up the strings' bridge a bit...if its any serious technical problem and it persists somehow...i dunno if u can do that in ur guitar but in my guitar i can..i simple have to loosen 2 screws which are on either sides of the bridge and it gets a bit elevated
whats ur agfe in terms of guitaring>?? coz may b u need some more time?? ie some more practice i at times hit more strings than required but i dont care :
