    Hi guys,

My first string (high E) keeps breaking .
I have to change it almost every 10-15 days.

I want to know, is this a problem with the way I tie up the string, or is it normal for the high E string to break so easy ?

    Its the indian Givson strings.
I also have D'Addario strings but Im worried I might break them too, so ive not hooked those up yet.
    Plz help.

is ur tuning right - check with a tuner.... if urs is too tight itll break esaily - maybe ur not winding them rightr - theres a guide on this forum only i think for strining - have a look at it... else search google - they have comprehensive and detailed instructions on restringing... go through them with the indian strings and see if it helps...

I had my Givson strings that came with my Blue Diamond and didn't break even after 5 months!! I think you are tuning too high. Else even with bending they can't break so easily.

Thx m8 I figured out the problem, I was rotating my strings (with my hand) too many times around the post, my frnd just told me that 2 spins would do, and u have to rotate it with the screw till u get the tune.
    Working gr8 till now ! :)
