I tuned the G-String or the 3rd String on my guitar with a clip-on tuner. According to the tuner and the software AP Tuner the string is tuned but i still hear the buzzing noise when played that string open
tuning and buzzing are 2 different issues... u can crosscheck the tuning by playing the 4th fret of G string and playing B string open.. see if they sound same.. buzzing may be related to wrong setup of ur guitar.. in case buzzing persists after tuning properly.. better u contact a luthier..
The neck is not setup correctly i.e it maybe bent. Or, if it is a cheap guitar, the string can buzz against the notch where the string goes over the bridge.

Hi, Try to find the source of the buzz, if the buzz is from frets 3 to 7 then you may need to adjust the truss rod. Its not that hard just read up on the Internet. IF the buzz is further up the neck, then you'll need to raise the bridge. Try both and make small changes and it should work out for you. Thanks, Angellica
