Vai may be more skilled but Randy = God. Rest In Peace.

rhoads played crazy train so is greater.
crazy train will run over bad horsie any day

 

hmm,well...rhoads was a really great guitarist,but I'm a huge steve vai fan...:

 

Steve Vai for me. Though i love randy's work, I think Steve Vai is much better. Hail Vai.

 

I hate steve vai's rather unneccesary stage antics....emotional my ass. Music wise i am a big fan of both. Though Steve Vai is a more technically gifted guitarist, i choose Randy over Steve when it comes preference.

come on, i just rather listen to Mr. Crowley than The Audience is Listening or something.

 

randy rhoads .... although i will agree with most of you that vai is much more talented

this comparison is ridiculous.

randy died way before he his peak imo.
but his guitar work is defintely really really really good.
steve vais music sometimes gets very very cheezeee.
but both are gifted players.

Vai is so much better. I saw him at Crossroads in Texas, he was AMAZING!!!!! he played , "Im the Hell Outta Here!" it was one of the best stage parformances. Crazy train is a good riff, but i dont like Ozzy or Rhoads sound in their songs

clearly Vai is more skilled than Randy.

 

Vai quite obviously..I like both, but Vai's music is just so great..
its not just abt skills.
