    u gotta help me

    man on my linux i installed the alsa sound driver ... now the phucking comp has become a mute beast ... :cry1:

    somehow alsa has dislodged/uninstalled the emu10k

    rizaaj - thanx a lot dude! -- Im in the stage of setting up a linux-based recording setup and experimenting on the guitar software available on linux. Will come up an analysis soon!! :)

    @jekyell : .. I can try to help you. Let me know which soundcard and which Linux distro you are using?
    Anyways -- run the command: alsamixer to adjust the volume instead of the graphical controlers ... might work..
