When we start a thread we cant delete it .... Thats fine.... But we can still edit it...... So what if i start a thread with something and after all people post... I change the thread to my own liking and make ppl belive wrong stuffs.... I know it might sound confusing... But dont u think editing a thread is a problem.... Mods probably only u guys should have rights to edit thread.... The posts can be edited by the owner.... When a user PMs u maybe u can edit the thread for him.... else it might cause probs........ U guys didnt want people deleting the threads... but removing all the content is nothing but deleting.......

I would prefer allowing editing till the thread gets its first reply. If you got atleast one reply then you can not edit it any more. That should be ok.
a feature similar to this has already been implemented....... posts older than one week cant be edited....not even by the user... only mods can......
