The general pattern of this poem is highly influenced by another poem I had read titled "Regret", posted anonymously... ---------------------------------- Sorrow One asked of sorrow, I made reply The wilt of a rose, to see it die The dawn of day, without a sunrise The kiss she gives, as another's bride One asked of sorrow, I made reply To see the truth and think it a lie To hold her close and to hear her sigh To find true love, and to see it die One asked of sorrow, I made reply To dream of heaven, to wish it nigh And to disbelieve, to call it a lie. ----------------------------------
Hey that was really nice, its typical of a poem that i like to read, i.e., poems that start of with a one-liner and then give lists!!!!!!! Way to go man.........
