Well this one is actually inspired from the "Now playing" thread... Everyone knows some artist that isn't so popular but is definitely worth hearing.. So this thread is dedicated to posting songs of not so well known artists but who are really good (according to u atleast)... State the Song Name followed by the Artist and the Genre or a brief description of a song. An attempt to look beyond the usual artists and songs...Please do not post songs by artists like Bryan Adams or Pink Floyd or something..every1 knows their discography..
^^lol...been called anti-neo,neo hater..but smith is new..but I should have known...It was inevitable. Anyways, moving away from the PJs.. Example: Castillos de Arena by Deep & Wide Genre: Chillout Basically an instrumental guitar track but the guitar is really good...
@Iraqita LOL ..i hope u get what i mean. Metallica - [Ride The Lightning] The Call Of Ktulu. Genre : Thrash Metal One of the best instrumentals ive heard so far..
DUDE you think this song is not known and metallica arnt famous????lol!!!!! nyways this indian band is really cool band name: demonic resurrection genre: death metal
Eagles - [Hotel California] Hotel California Genre : Rock Comment : A must hear. Every music lover knows about this song.
ya but one can listen to hotel california by gypsy king... its a spanish version but guitaring is quite cool...
@god If you do not like my posts, just f*ck off. I bet 50% of the IGT members don't listen to Metallica or don't know about them. Just because you happen to know too much about a band doesn't mean you start blaming me for putting their songs here. I know many bitches who never heard Hotel California. So keep your sh*t to yourself. + I'm jus putting up the songs I call legendary.
hey man chill!!! im not here to fight.... the author specified strictly songs which are not known.... u said 50% of people here dont know metallica.... well atleast 50% know so i think its quite common .... no offence but the author himself wrote not to post bands like pink flloyd..
Songevil Take My Soul Artist:Son of Dave and Martina Topley-Bird Genre:Rock and Pop Comment: Martina's got a hypnotic sensous voice, listen to her other tracks, this ones more of pop than rock
Pardon me dude, but I still think the non posters of IGT (silent watchers) don't know about Metallica, Eagles etc. Uneducation maybe...lol ..they stick to bollywood. This is like an education program for em. Sorry for the sh*t i said..ure posts jus meant a lil offensive to me

Michelle- Anouk A dutch band with some nice music...I'm horrible with genres so I'm really not sure where to put them.
'Water', 'Chainsling, 'Dryad of the Woods' by Pain of Salvation Progressive metal ALL their songs are just amazing 'Return to Serenity' by Testament Thrash metal It's the obligatory ballad almost every metal band plays - but this one is awesomeness! 'Into the Unfathomed Tower' by Candlemass Doom metal Instrumental - full of metally goodness : 'Cannonball' by Damien Rice Country Everyone's already heard 'The Blower's daughter' 'Godless' by Danzig Metal Dunno, I like the atmosphere in the song 'Moment of Clarity', 'Spirit Crusher' by Death (Not Death) Metal I think someone called them the pioneers of death metal. RIP Chuck Schuldiner 'The Longest Day' by Iron Maiden Heavy Metal No, this is not 'The Trooper' 'Floods' by Pantera Groove Metal (WTF) Voted as #15 of the top 100 solos of all time 'Lips of Ashes', 'Heart Attack in a Layby' by Porcupine Tree Every and no genre Almost all their songs are just mindblowing, but these I find easy to listen to over and over. 'Operation Mindcrime' by Queensryche Progressive (?) Great album, great song. 'Kaiowas' by Sepultura Brazilian Thrash (lol) Nice song - it's on acoustic guitars. 'Possessions' by Strapping Young Lad Extreme Metal It's not extreme like some obscure grindcore. It's extreme in a totally different way. 'Inferno (Unleash the Fire)', 'King of Terrors' by Symphony X Progressive Metal Technically good, musically even better! Meh. I don't listen to very varied styles.
Benighted by Opeth. Just for the sake of the acoustic solo played at the end of the song. Romeo and Juliet by Dire Straits If you had ever thought of writing a song. Second Life Syndrome (the album) by Riverside Prog metal band highly influenced by Procupine Tree, Tool and Floyd. Any song by Sigur Rós Just for the brilliant falsetto technique demonstrated by the vocalist.
