Hi, First time posting a thread in Beginners Q&A so please help out. I've been trying to play this tapping lick from the intro of 'Bite The Pain' by Death. continuation of Riff A.1 |-----------------------------| |-10t6t3-11t6t3-13t6t3-11t6t3-| |-----------------------------|GTRS I |-----------------------------| & II |-----------------------------| |-----------------------------| Can someone please explain what the hell is going on there? I know fretboard tapping (or right-handed tapping if you wish) but I don't understand how this is to be played.
different types of tapping patterns, the tap/pull/hammer; pull /hammer/tap; pull/hammer/hammer/tap etc. this one looks like the tap/pull/pull pattern. check out this link: https://www.guitartricks.com/lesson.php?input=1896&s_id=13&prev_id=1895
This is the transition from the intro to the vocals part right? Its tap/pull off/pull off. Impossible to tap all three notes. And I tried it, with the pull-offs. Couldn't manage the speed but I thought it sounded right. Try it with the pull-offs. The tab is wrong.
Alright cool. I figured the tab was wrong because as tejas said it's impossible to tap all 3 notes. It sounds better with pull-offs. Thanks for your help people.
WOW!! what a cool lick .... i played it like |10p3h6h10-11p3h6h11-13p3h6h13(13)p11| .... haevent heard the song but the lick sounds fantastic ...
