Some Usefull Guitar Notes

    Ha Guitarists how r u.. Last night i was pacticing the song from the movie School of rock thats owsome movie. and i've find some difficulties, some of them i know i'l tell u, and which i dont know you tell me Okies...


    H Hammer
    P Pull
    S Slide
    \ Slide Down
    / Slide Up
    x Mute
    m Mute
    ~ Vibrato
    ~~ Long Vibration
    ( ) ?????
    ^ ??????
    R ?????
    B Bend (But dont know how to use it)


    I know only this much, if you know more then go a head share them with all of us////

    could any tell me the diff betn pull, bend and hammer well ive been using hammer for all these ......could any tell me the diff. bent these

    umm.. pull is opposite of hammer... like u hammer from 6th fret to 8th

    keeping your first two fingers on 6th and 8th fret.. pluck 8th fret and pull up ur finger.. dont pull ur first finger that was holding the 6th fret.. now this is pull written as 8p6

    bend- u just push the string upwards as u play it
    ^-its just the sign for hammer
    R i think is relese bend -u pluck the bent string and then bring it back to its original position

    Ha ambus... u really solve my problem.... i was wondering wht bend and release if for

    one thing left and that is notes within brackets like in KHAMAJ Song

    either they are ghost notes or "it doesnt matter if you play them or not"
    i dunno .. this bracket thingy is not a general convention to be used in e-tabbing ..
    the gyu who did these tabs would have mentioned what these brackets mean ..
