Software for Finding Chords!

    Hellooo People,

    Wht are your thoughts on a software that takes in ur usual mp3 files and finds guitar chords for those songs?

    I think its called "the ear". Why would you need a software?

    LOL! thanks for the site...i meant...a software....tht would just give u accurate chords for each song..u open...with it.

    ^LOL!!! What a thought.... If such a software existed then there will be no need for a human ear..... I think technology should be limited to an extent

    There is a software called "chord pickout"

    Its not free and the trial finds the chords for only 20 seconds of the song
    If anybody finds a way to crack this sucker let me know

    there is software in my knowlege called "Digital Music Mentor"
    software is cool but its not so accurate you have to do some work out to get the chords from it

    I totally agree, i even don't think there is/are software doing this accurately, its quite impossible. So the best way is, try to recogize the notes played. To be able to recognize the notes, you will have to practise, practise and practise.
    My suggestion, please don't think a software can do the work properly, just use your ears and never ever give up!!!!

    Hello Friends,

    I'm Abdul Razzaq Shaikh, 26yrs, Mumbai Andheri, Frnds call me ABBY. Recently couple of week ago i have taken a Acoustic Guitar. As its my passion to play guitar from years ago. I dont know anythng abt guitar. I wanted to Learn guitar. I dnt have much time to go classes due to my heavy job schedule but daily half an hour i play guitar. Watchin YouTube i have Ek Haseena Thi tune so keep playing that one only. I'm unable to understand the chord and the language of A,B,C,G,E and all major minor. I got chords book than to unable to understand it and play it. Can any1 help me out in an easy to learn guitar and give me simple notes step by step of hinidi songs to play on guitar. Notes in terms of frets and string like which strings to play and which fret to press for a particular tune.

    I wish to learn song like:
    Aye Khuda - Paathshala,
    DDLJ Tune,
    Phir Milenge Tune,
    Jaadu Teri Nazar Tune,

    and Many More....

    Can any1 provide me all this songs step by step note in terms of frets and strings.

    Please.
