i use simple barred positions strumming only the higher strings..
in this song play C barred on 8th..

 

Cool song but I think the original was played on detuned guitars, so the chords that u have given might not match wiht the studio version.

its not the scale which cobain plays in the video..
its actually the pearl jam cover....they used the chords i have mentioned..
and they sound good on an acoustic guitar...

detuned means taht the guitars are tunes 1/2 step or 1 step (or even more) down ...
