i have a nice acoustic guitar and have never tried any electric guitar till now. there is this guy at my work, who wants to sell his electric guitar ( brand : first act ... :think: never heard of ... :think: ...... ) , a lil amplifier, and extra set of strings for 50$ ..... should i buy it ?? is it good enough just to start with ?? ..... i dont even know a b c d 's of electric guitar
first read the Guitar Buying Guide in the Beginners Q&A forum then consider that if its for $50 chances are that its not going to be a great guitar : how long you been playing acoustic for?
I think first act is sold by Walmart. The first act guitars are not really good. But for a 50$ it looks a good start up deal at least for the cable, strings and amp which can come in handy even with a nice guitar. But if you are serious abt electric guitar buy a good one.
