rizz, I think the intro will be less confusing if you can hear it first in the actual song and then try to practice it with the lead given.. because the timing is quite difficult to adjust by simply trying to play it from the given lead... and wrong timing can actually change the tune..:p:

hi taquila....nice chords and lead...i tried playing teh lead along with the chords but they are not in sync.....
for the lead part you should start from 7 instead of 5...

    i.e

    e---------------------------------------------------
    B-----------------8-7----------------------8--7--
    G-------7-----7-----------7----------7-----7--------
    D--7h-9----7--------------------7h-9----7----------
    A---------------------------------------------------
    E---------------------------------------------------

the 5th A string open is the 3rd note distinctly

    so its
    1. E slide to F#
(either on 4th string slide from fret 2 to fret 4 or like how i play it is 5th string slide from fret 7 to fret 9)

    2. high A (on either 3rd string 2nd fret or like how i play on 4th string 7th fret)

    3. then its the lowest A that is the 5th string open

    4. then the same E as the start

    5. then slide C# to D and back to C# (either on 2nd string fret 2/3 2 or like how i play it is 3rd string slide from 6/7 6

    6. last note is A on either 3rd string 2nd fret or 4th string 7th fret
