I just now watched this Sa re ga ma pa finals and I also downloaded all the songs from coolgoose for sa re ga ma pa. I had listened to them nummmmber of times. Out of this I thought what IGT would choose as the best singer out of two male and two female meaning one out of four. I may be putting wrong contestants in here but i am putting just those four which were first and second in males and females. who would you choose as India's voice if given a chance?
I watched a bit of it yesterday....the other people walked in, sang, owned the finalists and walked away. It was hilarious to watch.

They all are top quality singers i must say .. its very difficult to single out(am i soundin like typical judge :Worried: ) but i feel Debojit has a li'l more control on his voice n is more versatile.. Debojit is jz a tad better than vinit. I also liked hemchandra.. Himani is like muh fav singer.. she's like amazzzin .. so muh vote goes to Debo n Himani .. in my opinion debojit sings well, has got a very good voice but when it comes to tough songs he doesn't do justice to them. like i have his ae zindagi gale laga le. in antara he is just unable to give that fold of chhotta sa saya thaaa..... this tha ka fold but Himani does it well. and pitch wise vinit goes anywhere so both ways i didn't like debojit. but no doubt he has got a matured voice. as far as counting goes my vote went to himani.
I liked Hemachandra.....some of the songs that he sang were awesome...like hai rama from Rangeela...Nahi pas me..Taal...ramta jogi frm the same movie...i just loved them.
was quite disappointed to see debojit win, dont get me wrong he is a good singer but not as great as himani, hemu or vinit....i would have prefered to see someone like sharib or nihira in his position instead. i would have liked vinit to win, but with a voice like his im sure he'll get more contracts. i think for the next sa re ga ma challenge, they need to make it one vote per person for that one week, and not disclose the number of votes midway throught the finals, if they do have 'gharanas' then possibly follow more the fame gurukul system. where each mentor does train his own kids, but during the round they only watch and there are external judges. the mentors then between them can save one person.
yes I also liked that hemachandra's ramta jogi and other songs sung by him. i liked twinkle also in that song 'sir se sarka jaaye dupatta beimaan re' and 'chot dil pe lagi' simply awesome. but couldn't hear much frm her as she was out pretty early. i guess..
exactly himani's jiya dhadak dhadak was just mesmerizing. I got so moved i recorded that song and uploaded on soundclick. but that song even that choreography and everything was soo cool in that song. and she just did all the right things there. 101 pts to Himani for that. my heart goes hmmm... for himani
