Ryan Martinie one of the most talented bassists

Possibly one of the most talented bassists i've ever heard. The only downside is he plays for Mudvayne....but still hes bloody good!

 

Please make a list of your favourite bassists. This one's good, i agree. Just the guitars and vox ruin it.

#1. Eric Langlois from Cryptopsy ( this man is half the reason for me turning into a bassist)
#2. Steve Digiorgio - ex Death, played and still is in the Testament line up (the other half)
#3. Alex Webster from Cannibal Corpse (very skilled!)
#4. Sean Mallone, he played with Cynic
#5. Martin Fercuson , ex-Cryptopsy
#6. Greg Christian, ex-Testament
#7. Les Claypool, from Primus (this man's music is weird, but his bass skills are something else)
#8 Ryan Martinie (its alright to admire a single member's skills, but detest his band overall)

God damn it! You know I was itching for this album's release and I actually forgot all about it (hits self for calling himself a Cryptopsy fan). This one is DEFINITLEY going into my collection!

 

I think, its a new face, new drum sound (better) and new bass sound(i think)

 

dude, i had to check twice if that was Cryptopsy. That sounded so different! I hope the whole album is not like that. I miss their None So Vile or Whisper Supremacy sound

That one sounds like a live grind song. Actually for any death metal song, its quite wierd. The song must be the odd one out of the album (strange name).

Justin Chancellor (maybe too much showoff but still really good) - Tool

Martin Mendez (I think the bass is cool there even though i dont know much about bass) - Opeth

........ And the bassist of pig destroyer. : - Pig Destroyer (Took quite long to figure that out)
