CCR Anyday man. SusieQ and Fortunate Son alone are worth listening to the band. Deep Purple with Tommy Bolin on Guitars or Deep Purple with Steve Morse on Guitars I wont list Ritchie Blackmore 'cos the answer becomes very obvious.

Ok he played June 1975 to March 1976 ....... thts a short period to judge..... and the tracks were Comin' home (Bolin/Coverdale/Paice) 3.52 Lady Luck (Cook/Coverdale) 2.45 Gettin' tighter (Bolin/Hughes) 3.36 Dealer (Bolin/Coverdale) 3.49 I need love (Bolin/Coverdale) 4.22 Drifter (Bolin/Coverdale) 4.01 Love child (Bolin/Coverdale) 3.05 Medley 6.07 This time around (Hughes/Lord) Owed to 'G' (Bolin) You keep on moving (CoverdaleComin' home (Bolin/Coverdale/Paice) 3.52 Lady Luck (Cook/Coverdale) 2.45 Gettin' tighter (Bolin/Hughes) 3.36 Dealer (Bolin/Coverdale) 3.49 I need love (Bolin/Coverdale) 4.22 Drifter (Bolin/Coverdale) 4.01 Love child (Bolin/Coverdale) 3.05 Medley 6.07 This time around (Hughes/Lord) Owed to 'G' (Bolin) You keep on moving (Coverdale/Hughes) 5.18 Havent heard to anyof them so i will go with Steve Morse ..... K,... i have heard PDV once, not heard about the other band So PDV it will be Nxt bands > Beatles > Backstreet Boys hehe..... i know many people here are even gonna hate to answer this. I personally hate both the bands! :
Backstreet Boys anyday... ________________________________________________________________________ umm... slayer or metallica?
Someone voted for Backstreet Boys and next asked for a compare between slayer or metallica ....... I cant break my own rules so I SHUT up..... Between LED ZEPP / SABBATH ..... Though i love both the bands ..... I will go with sabbath.... Coz i have heard to so many of their songs and havent found any not catchy or good...... But there are some LED ZEPP songs which didnt remain in my mind...... Mucically speaking LED ZEPP is better..... But finally to speak of what your mind likes it SABBATH....... Ok the next two are ..... THE DOORS ........ BOB Marley ...... Know they r of diffrent type but still good to compare ... as they r of same period......
hmm...tough one.....will go wid doors....after i saw their DVD..... nxt two... evanescence or michelle branch.....
Ritchie Blackmore quit Deep Purple after the Stormbringer album being unhappy with the band's musical direction. Due to Coverdale's influence the band was taking a Bluesy direction which Blackmore didn't like. This is pretty obvious in his Stormbringer album. You can actuall see Blackmore doing such a lackluster work compared to his previous work. Coverdale also did some horrible singing except on a few tracks. When Blackmore quit, Deep Purple faced the challenge of replacing him with some big guitar hero becasue Blackmore had a larger than life image. He chose then American guitar wunderkind and guitar hero Tommy Bolin. Even Blackmore himself gave excellent reviews about Tommy Bolin. He was real hot guitarist then playing with James Gang before he joined Purple. Tommy Bolin could take up the humilations from the Blackmore's fan and a result was poor playing in Deep Purple. If you want to know real Tommy Bolin check out his James Gang or his Solo albums. His playing in Purple was a kind of disappointment as much disappointing as what Steve Morse did to Deep Purple. Check out Wild Dogs. He had a great voice too. The album you mentioned below actually had three vocalist. David Coverdale, Glen Hughes and Tommy Bolin. You can hear all 3 of them singing parts of almost every song. Not like chorus. Each ones seperately. Talk of Boy Bands in those days.
When it comes to late 80's no doubt Scorpions were there.... but i would go with these bands..... Dream Theatre Guns 'N Roses whatyyaaa guyz say??
