my mistake, I think Charles Shobhraj might be a closer comparison? I think it was a combination of good behaviour, having served 5 and half years already and this final straw which got him off. On a side note, I'm normally all for flexibility shown by courts plus I can't see a huge case against this guy. Should a suicide note by itself be treated as evidence because I really can't see anything else which is incriminating?
