It%u2019s been 4 years since the 1st one and Resurrection has grown over the years. It remains India%u2019s only extreme metal festival and this year it just gets more extreme.

Barcode Entertainment brings you Resurrection VII in association with Furtados Music & EMI Records .

This Resurrection, making their Indian debut and also the 1st International Artist to play at Resurrection, we proudly present SEVERE DEMENTIA (Bangladesh).

Severe Dementia, hailing from Dhaka, Bangladesh, is a Brutal Death Metal band with technical influences. Ever since January 2004, Severe Dementia is embodying blistering speed, total brutality, technical proficiency and unleashing a torrent of pulverizing death metal in every gig. Along with touring India they are also releasing their 1st EP titled %u2018Epitaph of Plassey%u2019 through Demonstealer Records. Their music is downloadable on www.myspace.com/severedementia

That%u2019s not all, this years lineup also includes:

    1. Devoid %u2013 In a short span of time Devoid has revived the glory of thrash music with their honest and aggressive approach to their music. Devoid has made a mark with their songs like %u2018Black Fortress%u2019, %u2018Kaali%u2019 etc and are the torch bearers for the thrash scene in India.

    2. Cosmic Infusion %u2013 Mumbai%u2019s very own symphonic black metal band. A band that stays true to its roots, CI infuses old school black metal with symphonic keyboards giving their music an edge over the hordes of black metal bands. Formed by ex- members of Disembodied Corpse, CI has not rested on past laurels and proved themselves with their great music and insane stage performances.

    3. Exhumation %u2013 Our very own blood curdling, all annihilating death metal machine. A band that%u2019s been in hibernation since a long time, with rumors of being finished and written off, they are back to disprove all the theories and do what they do best. Play their own brand of Brutal Death Metal. Their new 3 piece line-up showed its fury at Razz on the 14th of March and its time once again for Exhumation to raise hell at Razz.

    4. Demonic Resurrection %u2013 The band celebrates 7 years of being on the scene, staying true to their music, always putting their own music before everything else and most of all kicking ass for the most part of it. When most bands die within 2-3 years DR has survived 7 and this is a celebration as well as their final performance in Mumbai for a long time.

    And that%u2019s not all:

Demonstealer Records will be releasing its currently untitled split CD which will feature the EP%u2019s of: Severe Dementia (Bangladesh), Demonic Resurrection (India) and Dusk (Pakistan). The CD will also feature a few surprise bonus tracks.

And that%u2019s not even the best part, the CD will be given FREE of cost to all those present at the gig.

Barcode Entertainment will also be releasing 'THE RESURRECTION ZINE' Issue 4 at the gig which will be given FREE to everyone who comes for the gig. The magazine will feature interviews with some of the best local extreme metal talent, articles, reviews etc. So be there and make sure you take home this limited edition, collectors Zine because it will never be re-printed.
