req: strummming pattern of dukhobilas ,ekhono

plz can anyone tell me sturumming how they play. plz tell me in notation for the song of dukhobilas ,ekhono, etc slow song

 

Try to listen to the songs n get teh chords n then try to get the strumming pattern yourslef

at first its by some trial n error then it gets better n u can urself strum songs

i dont play bengali songs though bad luck or would have helped u

 

I think you should have extended your Strumming tips more than your signature !!

Am not much of a strummer myself. You could try to follow the drum patterns for starters. Your right arm should not be stiff - then u can pick up the strums easily. I think th ebest advice can be had from Arindamda. Arindamda, teasers na diye strumming-er opor kichu advice daona pls.

 

First start off with simple down stroke. DDDD.. Play it in the 4/4 rhythm. Then do alternate strokes. That is one down and one Up. DU DU DU DU.. And now implement certain changes in the DU series. It could be D D DUDU. Like this you can have a practice.

D- when you stroke the plectrum down.
U-when you stroke it up.

i tried to strum the chord myself but it doesnot sound clear.plz help to play some slow song. slow song like dukhobilas, mohakal(bivishika),ekhono(black),irsha(tahsan)

 

^^How many days have you been playing the instrument?? If it is not for long.. then i am afraid , you wont be able to strum as the pro. Better get a teacher. And ask him to show you things. And I am sure you'd do pretty good. And i have not heard the songs that you have mentioned in your post. But, i think your are talking of arrpegios..!! Anyway, stroke once and sing along. Stroke only when you're changing the chord. That's the safest way to sing along with minimum decency!!

Step-1] Start with a simple arpezzio...arpezzio is nothing but picking one string one by one and playing the fretted note.....say for eg start with Em & Am...

Step-2] Strat arpezziating it only downwards.

Step-3] Strat arpezziating it only upwards.

Step-4] Strat arpezziating both.

Step-5] Now add another chord,say,D.

Step-6] Repeat step 2,3,4.

Step-7] Now add another chord,say,C.

Step-8] Repeat step 2,3,4.

Step-9] After this try these chords strumming downwards...Only downwards!

Step-10] After this try these chords strumming downwards...Only Upwards!

Both picking one chord at a time..play it cleary & loudly...holding the plec medium lightly & Check whether any of the finger is blocking the next note or not..if its blocking...try to adjust that first..

Step-11] Play these arpezzios & Upward-Downward pattern without any blocked note,muted note or without any difficulties.....

 

slow sog e pick koro......or arpezoio type baajao..chord ta dhore ekbar strum kore baki time ta pick koro........

 

someone told me to strum like D DUD or like that D UDUD. is that the right way to strum the slow song?
