Req Help for this live version of song bring me to life

Hi all. I need help in figuring correct chords of this live version of song Bring me to life(live). I downloaded this from some site n net and forgot the site

I an tring to figure out same chords and to play in same way but not succesful yet. pls help. (Also sadly my regular id aint working properly donno y cant i make a new thread in that id)

come on guys, aint here some one who can help me in figuring out correct chords as played here. more than 20 hrs and not even single reply

lol. its realy sad that no one is giving replies. when i used to post here i never asked for any help back in those days. this is my first request thread and no one could even reply. It realy hurt me

I will be deleting mp3s in max 72 hrs if i dont get any reply within that period.

I think this should help. Get used to this forum not being helpful. All the posters have gone really.


What was your original ID though?

 

You might have a bit of problem playing with the song because their tuning isn't perfect E but not a half step lower either...it's somewhere in the middle.

 

i used to post more than a year back. when jayswami and bandbajaa and other good members were quite active. that time i was not much old to guitar. now my old id just let me log in but no creating thread or replys allowed. donno why.

 

i will check the chords tonight at home. the version played here is realy hard to get with quite difficult way to playing chords.

will check chords and get to u. ty for helping.

And its realy true the site is not quite as much help as in old days.

I checked but the version u mentioned bjr matches the rock version. The one i asked is accustic version which's link i had posted. the chords dont match to the accoustic version according to me. Looks like i had to figure out the tuning and chords by myself coz i dont think any one had heard this accoustic version of song.

I did check the link you provided. The chords don't change as far as I can tell.

As for the tuning, like I said, its the same....only not on perfect E.

At least thats what I can make of it.

precisely...which is what the tabs show too.

 

but i feel the chords are by using barr on 2nd fret + the chords only changes patern near "wake me up" part only before only 2 chords only play. the chords mentioned in link changes to power chords (near "without a sole" part) which actually fits prefectly on rock songs. but this acoustic one is littel bit tricky to play.

 

um, no. The chords don't change in this tab either. It's still Em and C.

E5 is a power chord....which means you're playing the 1st and the 5th of the chord. However, in essence, the chord is still Em and there is no change in the chord progression so you see, they're using the same chords. I think they're using power chords on the acoustic too. Play normal Em and C if you will.

 

ya i know that but still i dont think that em and c9 matches adjactly as played in the version.(i tried semi down tuning too still no match)
