This is how I play it:
    Fingering immediately below tab
    1 = index, 2 = middle, 3 = ring, 4 = pinky

    Code:
    Tuning : E A D G B E

    Symbols used in this tab:
    h -> hammer on

    Intro:

     Dm Dm
    |--------------------------------|--------------------------------|
    |--------5h6---6---6---6---5h6---|--------5h6---6---6---6---5h6---|
    |----7---------------------------|----7---------------------------|
    |7-------------------------------|7-------------------------------|
    |--------------------------------|--------------------------------|
    |--------------------------------|--------------------------------|
    3 3 1 2
The strumming pattern is easy to figure out.
     Dm C Bb Dm
    |5-------3-------1-------5-------|--------------------------------|
    |6-------5-------3-------6-------|--------------------------------|
    |7-------5-------3-------7-------|--------------------------------|
    |7-------5-------3-------7-------|--------------------------------|
    |5-------3-------1-------5-------|--------------------------------|
    |--------------------------------|--------------------------------|

The whole song can be played with the above 3 chords and the A chord:

    |---5
    |---5
    |---6
    |---7
    |---7
    |---5

    try this:
    prelude and interlude :
    Dm : down down
C : down down up down
    Bb : down down
    Dm : down down

strumming for all chords in the verse: (play it fast)
    d d d u d u d

Best way to figure out the pattern is to listen to the original and experiment ...
    Hope that helps!
