Strumming pattern for this song is fairly simple
its a 3/4 song
so u count 1-2-3-1-2-3

and the pattern is

1-2-3-
D-u-u-

The Down stroke should be on the thicker strings
and the Up stroke should be on the thinner strings without a lot of sustain
so it is
CHUNNGGG CHANKK CHANKK CHUNNGGG CHANKK CHANKK

Like you said that rythm for this song is waltz (1-2-3, 1-2-3), so my question here is when we have to change the chords in the songs will we always change the chords on the count of 1 (in 1 2 3) and play same chord for beats 2 and 3 or can chords change at any count..

This thing always confuses me, I am learning guitar without any formal coaching so tips from guys like you really help...

the answer is a YES in general cases
sometimes some songs do ask for changes in between
but for now u play changes on the ONE
