does anyone know of a software with which its possible to keep/make a digital record of audio songs that are streamed from some site.

for example if XYZ site streams songs which play on windowns media player in my comp, is there any way or any software with which i can safe that streamed audio file into my computer for offline listenning later on ?

u can use audacity....only jhol is it creates only mono MP3s....
use something like wave studio which will actuallyc reate stereo wavs, which can be later converted to mp4s.........and u can use the "what you hear" option in ur audio properties ka menu to record
