    Video On youtube here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dLWEsWfSZ6o

A cover of Pukarta chala from Mere Sanam. Based on Bandbaaja's work here except minor change in intro. It is partial as I forgot lyrics then. i am from south. Thought might help some with this simple strumming. it has intro and first interlude. Second interlude is similar. Spl thx to Bandbaaja. Ur work is always top quality.

Comments here or there plz. thx all bye

everyone cant be on a good bandwidth to view the videos and then u want feedback for ur singing/guitaring and not the music video, so u could've put it on soundclick

btw...guitaring is good, singing needs to be improved, specially for higher pitches
  3. good one juzko.....guitaring is good..singing needs to be improved as vini said..

thx Devilshly_Pur$ and vini for appreciating strumming and advice on vocals.

yes always. i donno anything about music, singing, guitaring or pitches. Been trying under a year only. I have a doubt here. it may seem a nonsense to u all. But could u or someone plz clarify it?

In the original song, is the part "gali gali" relatively at high pitch? is the part "chaav" still higher?? I am asking in terms of difficulty i feel when singing or humming. when a female sings this song, doesn't it naturally go to higher pitches than a man's version? I definitely can't sing like a female, it is huge strain. or is it explained in terms of octaves and females have higher octave voice? then do u think my problem that i am singing really bad when changing from some note to another higher note? even if i try to sing at lower octave(i mean lower pitchs) i still feel same difficulty. or did u mean as some say change scale (i mean start at a comfortable note ) so that my note changes are easier for me?

That's very true. But my purpose is someone should see chord positions and changes and techniques so that they can point out all faults. I have no access to any guitarist or teacher. so plz excuse. i am more focussed on learning guitaring (a hobby) than singing. I included vocals as without it song feels very empty to me. Moreover i can learn to coordinate singing and strumming. Also on bandwidth file is only 2.29 MB here and not huge load

hope somebody will answer my doubts

see u can only sing perfectly if u have taken proper vocal training or u've been practicing for a long time. in this song, i believe u started fine but at few points like "bas ek chaa" "bas ek nigaah" which needed a higher pitch, u couldnt manage + at some not so high points here and there ur voice was going off/haywire even hoarse

but its all perfectly fine coz u urself said that ur a year old at music, so with some time and practice you'll be singing much much better than this! it was a good effort and im sure you can do better(at singing ofcourse)..all the best!

    sure chords and tabs here

there are many postings for the same song on IGT, but if there is a version discussed by jayswami or bandbaaja, i follow it. In this intro i diverted slightly from bandbaaja's version though. But all credits should go to him

@Acoustic_Allure thk u very much. what r reps?

@arparwan yes if video is good, somebody can learn chord changes and chord positions, if it is bad pros can correct me so i can learn. I prefer it to audio alone. thx for all advice and encouragement

@sachoo thx for detailed analysis and suggestions. RAFI is way above the rest. quoting yesudas on Rafi from (http://www.chennaionline.com/chennaicitizen/2004/02kjyesudas.asp) "I like Mohammed Rafi's voice. I got an opportunity to sing along with him but due to unavoidable circumstances it did not happen. He used to address me as his son, which made me feel proud."

Those interested plz read more on Rafi's greatness and comparison with kishore read (
Author says "To make it more obvious, let me add that I personally prefer Kishore's version of "tum bin jaauu kahaa, ke duniyaa mein aake" from Pyar ka Mausam." Me too :)

thx again vini. i just noted u r top poster here awesome. thx for guiding newcomers like me. i meant one year into guitaring. i am not into singing unless drinking with some 'old-song' lovers esp hindi. hardly find any around my area :-( though drunkards are many

Cheers Joseph. I check all your videos on youtube. pretty decent work with Tequila Sunrise.
Reps (Reputation) are those green dots under your name. If listeners/viewers approve of your posts, they add to your reputations...analogous to be an amateur then turn to an intermediate and pro..? Got it!

    Keep the work coming dude!

@ thx Acoustic_Allure for clarifying. reps is a term i found extensively in p**n forums where the encouragement is highest and the rating system is dependable there. I donno if it applies to all forums. Somewhere i read if Kasparov registers and tries to play yahoo chess, he has to start as newbie and may be kicked by lesser skilled players assuming he is a chess player like me. I hadn't seen the green dots as i have disabled 'loading images' option to save my bandwidth quota. I also disabled javascript 'context menu' management which helps me to open several windows in IGT forum side by side. thx for reps and thx for evaluating all my postings here and on youtube. hopefully i can post some more in the coming days. and don't forget to post the songs ur playing.

@Vini going by dots i see u r a pro. u have lots of them. thx again for all help n advice
