Ok, so I have a budget of about 18 - 20K. Here's what I've been considering: Korg AX3000g Line 6 Pod XT Live Is there anything else I should be considering? Which Boss model will fit in that budget? Between the Korg and Line 6, which one? I play Progressive Metal (Stuff like Dream Theater and all), Thrash (Metallica and the like) and a little bit of classic and Alternative rock.
KORG is good, though many ppl claim it doesn't sound right for the metal stuff. POD sounds pretty pro.
Boss ME-70 fits that range. If u can up ur budget some more then u can get Line 6 M9 stompbox modeler but u may have to buy an expression pedal separately.
