i m planning to buy a processor...my 1st actual processor( i hav a rp50)....hav been reading a lots of reviews n getting confused. budget..arnd 14k i m considering the followin procs boss me 25....read that its amp modelling is not gud...but effects are gud...i m personally inclined towards boss coz of its brand name...n feel its value for money...u get 38secs looper..usb recording...n wah is better than line 6 (wich i wud love to use). line 6 floor pod plus....read that it has better amp modellin as compared to boss..but effects are weak..has 4 footswitches...so 4 tones accessable in 1 tuch. vox tonelab st...has tube preamp...warmer tone..effects nt gud. zoom 2.1Nu...plastic made...not reliable...tho easily tweakable...gud distortions i play heavy metal (metallica, black sabbath etc) ..wud also like to play slipknot , log, nirvana,soad. i also intend to play live in clg fests... wich one shud i go 4? can even extend my budget n go for me-70/gt-8 if its really worth for that price difference. dun wanna go 4 pedals rite now..coz proc wil help more in learning the usage of different effects... thnks for readin all this
I had a Boss ME20. Pretty decent processor i must say. ME-25 shud also be a good buy. Guess the ME-50 is discontinued but it was a great processor. Look out for used ME-50 or ME-70. Great budget deals. I guess Disturbed here on this forum is selling his Line6 POD XT. Try contacting him.

go for me 70......I have also decoded to buy it.....lots of good reviews...and in Kolkata (braganza) they say gt-8 is discontinued...dont know for sure though..
^^ya me 70 has got sum gud reviews...i hav read boss's distortions arent as gud as line 6...but the effects on line 6 are weak..so m confused. waiting for the experienced ppl to reply..
