Oh good question.. its the same predicament I am in right now. And I would be keeping a keen eye on the suggestions by others.. But what I would say to ya Notty.. is that the extra expression pedal for 3grand (G2.1u) is kinda tricky.. If you're only using it for Wah, you could get a separate Wah pedal for 3-4 grand and line it in with the processor... and you'll get much better effects.. If you're gonna use it for Gain controls etc (i think that is an option with the G2.1u) then it is okay to invest the additional 3K. I think between the RP50 and RP80, u should go for the RP80. The rest.. I am as confused as you...
EXpression pedal is worth anythign if you do live gigs. It is a must. For home parctice and recordings, you need pedal mostly for wah, so thats your call.
G2.1u has a sampler + drum machine. I dunno if the G2 does. The expression pedal itself is a big one (unless you have a wah and/or volume pedal).
